The Democrat deals just do not or can not work. For you younger folks take it from some of us who have been around since the 50's, and I WAS a Democrat as WERE all of my family, We are now all Independents or Republicans. We saw the light.

Democrats had full and complete control of the Congress and Senate for the 40 years before 1994 and in that time they had 20 years of the Presidency. Let me tell you What we are going through now is nothing close to how bad it was in the late 60’s, all of the 70’s and most of the 80’s.

Well in 1994 thru 2000 we finally had the Republican House and Senate. It takes about two to three years for the new policies to take effect. Clinton was in his last 3 years of his two terms and things really were starting to go very well. Then Bush came in and the Republicans finally had the Presidency, the House and the Senate. They cut taxes for everyone, the biggest in history and made if so much better for everyone. Poor people were moving from poverty level to middle class level. Bunches of people moved into the rich class.

Anyone over 35 years old, between 1997 and 2007 who says that they and everyone around them wasn’t booming, growing and doing fantastically well money wise, is either blind or lying. Money was pouring into the treasury like mad, like never before in history and thank God because, we had 911, the two wars and several hurricanes and a boat load of very bad national disasters. I know myself (I’m in sales) that everyone of my family, friends and acquaintances I knew was making way more money and doing way better than we ever did before.

Now think and remember. At the end of 2005, business started thinking about the 2006 election that was coming up for the House and the Senate. Since they knew so people were mad at Bush, because the media finally had him so beat down and cursed by them and the Democrats, they wanted change. Well the businesses small, medium and large saw that the Democrats were going to take back control of the Congress & Senate. Well Business knows what Democrats in control of the Congress & Senate will do. And what they do is very anti business things. So Business stops - doing any investing, building, expanding, hiring and in fact they start cutting back and laying off people, because they know the Democrats are going to hurt business and cost them big time with mountains of tax increases, large amounts of rules & regulations and just the same kind of things they have always done to business. It’s no secret Obama and every other Washington Democrats have been saying that all along. Remember too, the only people that employ people are the upper middle class, the rich and businesses.

This is a fact the Democrats in Washington have always been hard on people trying to be in business. They cause them to go out of business or move out of the country, which creates more unemployed, underemployed and poor people. This means there are more people in competition and on the Government dole. And it makes everyone - upper middle class, down to the poor worse off. It’s this simple and has been proven, time and again, socialism and communism DO NOT WORK and it hurts every one of us. Only it hurts the poorer people the most...
